BONGAIGAON : Decentralised management strategy and Zero Vaccine Wastage Policy cause reduction in COVID cases.

Bongaigaon,15th May : In Bongaigaon district the Covid test positivity rate is decreasing steadily to 1.3%. This is because of extensive testing and isolation strategy of district administration and Health department of Bongaigaon. Under the Project MILIJULI by way of which decentralised monitoring is happening by Sectoral Medical Officers and giving Pulse Oxymeters to all patients have helped.The district administration and Health department, Bongaigaon manage to vaccinate more number of people than the doses of vaccines by using Zero Wastage Policy and using the extra vaccine doses which are not wasted to vaccinate more number of people.
