Cabinet approves proposal to lease out Guwahati and two other airport to Adani Group

New Delhi : The Union Cabinet has affirmed the proposition for renting out Jaipur, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram air terminals of Airports Authority of India (AAI) through Public Private Partnership (PPP). 

An official delivery said that the bureau agreed its endorsement for renting the three air terminals for activity, the executives and improvement to Adani Enterprises Ltd, who was pronounced as the effective bidder in worldwide serious offering directed by the Airports Authority of India. The rent is for a time of fifty years.

It said that the administration had rented out the Airports Authority of India's air terminals at Delhi and Mumbai on Public Private Partnership for Operation, Management and Development about 10 years prior.
