Arms and ammunition found in Khagrabari, Chirang district

BONGAIGAON: In another activity against militancy in the Bodoland Territorial Area District (BTAD) in lower Assam, police recouped a tremendous store of arms and ammo in Chirang locale on Tuesday. 

The take of unlawful arms and ammo incorporates 1 AK Rifle, 1 HK Rifle, 1 Uzi type Rifle, 2 Pistols, Magazines and a tremendous measure of ammo. Chirang Police did the activity in the Khagrabari town under the Runikhata Police Station. 

Prior on Sunday, Assam Police held onto an enormous measure of arms and ammo from Kokrajhar locale. The recuperations included 5 AK Rifles, 1 INSAS Rifle, 1 MMG with chain, 5 Pistols and a sizable number of ammo.
