GUWAHATI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday dismissed the bail supplication of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) pioneer Akhil Gogoi, who was captured amidst the statewide fights against the hostile Citizenship (Amendment) Act back in December, 2019. This comes days after Akhil was allowed bail by the Gauhati High Court under three cases enlisted at the Chabua Police station in Dibrugarh. The worker head was allowed bail under case no 293/19, 296/19, and 307/19. In the mean time, Akhil's legitimate direction has set out to move to the Gauhati High Court looking for bail for the laborer head.
This comes days after Akhil was allowed bail by the Gauhati High Court under three cases enrolled at the Chabua Police station in Dibrugarh. The worker chief was allowed bail under case no 293/19, 296/19, and 307/19. In the interim, Akhil's lawful insight has made plans to move to the Gauhati High Court looking for bail for the laborer head.
"Akhil is yet to get bail in 2 NIA cases. Despite the fact that the bail request has been dismissed today, we will move toward the Gauhati High Court in the following week looking for his bail", Krishna Gogoi, Akhil's legal counselor, revealed to The Sentinel Digital. Three of Gogoi's nearby associates – Bitu Sonowal, Manas Konwar, and Dhaijya Konwar – have just been conceded bail. Akhil Gogoi was captured in December 2019 on charges of dissidence and induction savagery during hostile to CAA disturbance in the State. Since the time at that point, there has been a fuss for his discharge from jail.
