BONGAIGAON; Today Hon'ble Minister, Environment and Forest, Excise and Fisheries, Govt.of Assam, Shri Parimal Suklabaidya ceremonially laid the foundation stone of Biodiversity Park ( Sahitya-Manishi Upabon) at Chitkagaon in Kakoijana Reserved Forest.
Hon'ble Minister, Food and Civil Supply, Govt.of Assam, Shri Phani Bhushan Choudhury, MLAs Sjt. Ananta Kumar Malo and Sjt. Ashok Kumar Singhi, Bongaigaon Deputy Commissioner Dr. M.S.Lakshmi Priya, Superintendent of Police, Bongaigaon Sri Subodh Kumar Sonowal, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and HoFF, Assam Sri A.M.Singh and the Official heads from the Forest department were also present in the event today. Forest department is planning to have a plantation of more than a 1000 of different species in that park in the days to come.
