GUWAHATI; Kamrup (Metro) deputy commissioner (DC) Biswajit Pegu has tested COVID-19 positive who was former DC of Bongaigaon district.
Pegu who was at the frontline in the fight against the pandemic was detected with the infection on Monday.
Earlier several top bureaucrats of the state also tested COVID-19 positive.
