AHSEC To Reduce Syllabus For The Academic Year 2020-21

In wake of present COVID-19 situation, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has decided to reduce the Higher Secondary (HS) syllabus by 30% for the academic year 2020-21, The Assam Tribune reported.

The progression has been taken by the Council to facilitate the educational program load on the understudies, because of the conclusion of scholastic foundations in the State.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has just legitimized its prospectus for Class 9 to 12 for the scholarly meeting 2020-21 by up to 30%.

Wellsprings of The Assam Tribune in the AHSEC affirmed that after a gathering with its scholastic standing council, it has chosen to diminish the prospectus by 30% as a one-time measure.

The sources included that the course cutting back would incorporate both HS first Year and HS second Year educational program and the Council would officially tell its choice by August 31.

Prior on August 1, Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had said that SEBA and AHSEC have been encouraged to either lessen the prospectus or give greatest alternatives in the inquiry paper with the goal that understudies don't confront trouble if a part of the schedule has not been finished.
